Uncommon to find this award with the top Sharpshooter pin, which is dated 1891 and appears to be silver, while the preceding years 1888-1889 and round NGP medallion are heavy solid bronze. Measures approx. 3 3/4" long. From a very fine high end local estate of an affluent family with an antique collection dating throughout the 1800's. Among the pieces we have available from that are a few medals from the 1880's-90's, a 14kt gold B.P.O.E. Elk's Lodge Elk Tooth watch fob, a 1916 B.P.O.E. Reading PA Reunion Visitor Badge and a WWII Sterling Air Force pin.

    An original antique bronze medal / badge pin in excellent condition, missing one link as shown.   Uncommon to find this award with the top Sharpshooter pin, which is dated 1891 and appears to be silver, while the preceding years 1888-1889 and round NGP medallion are heavy solid bronze.
    Measures approx. 3 3/4" long.
