    1890's Antique Milk Glass
    Showing an Eagle in a nest, wings outstretched in protection of 3 Eggs which are labeled Porto Rica (as spelled on piece), Cuba & Philippines.
    The Milk glass ribbon stretched across the front of the nest reads "The American Hen" & the underside of the bowl of this piece reads "Pat Applied For".
    The Flaccus Company made these in the 1890's to commemorate the Spanish-American war.
