    ......  1  ...  B.T.C. ...  U.S., are the readable stamped markings, on this antique CAVALRY HORSE CURB BIT, with a slobber chain, from about the late-1800s.
    ......  My photos show the exact item that you are getting, and are a major part of my description.  ~   This old steel bit measures about 5" across the mouthpiece, and the cheeks are about 7" long with1-3/8" rein rings.   ~    Note the short and outwardly-curved purchases.   ~  This pre-owned U.S. Cavalry horse bit has noticeable wear, a darkened metal patina, and light surface rusting/pitting (as seen in the pictures).
