Description
Please note that the three harder to read pictures are with my camera and I am a terrible photographer. The other pictures are scanned at 400 DPI. Colors get pumped around and saturated in the scanning process. The paper has a light creamy color. This November 22, 1894, issue of the Engineering News and American Railway Journal has a centerfold with a diagram of the US Battleship Maine. It also has a the following articles: Hydraulic Power for Warships (includes a diagram of 'Pneumatic Accumulators or Hydraulic Power Plant on the U. S. Warships "Monterey" and "Oregon.", Torpedo Launch for the U. S. Battleship Maine. There is also a diagram titled "Blower and Engine for use in Torpedo Launches "Maine and "Texas.
As you can see from the Table of Contents there are a lot of other articles about bridges, railroads, and civil engineering projects.
This journal measures 10 1/2 by 14". This means that the centerfold measures 21" across by 14" tall. I scanned the centerfold in two sections. The journal is 24 pages. Very good condition.
Please e-mail with any questions.
