You will look a long time to find a nicer hat than this. The hat has been kept in my collection room in a display case. The hat shows very well. This is a superb hat for the era. This is my last 1902's dress blue hat. The hat shows better than the picture. Collectors ask me,“ where did you get so many hats and uniforms?” My answer is I would buy anything from WW II back to the Civil War that was in excellent condition without holes or damage. If the item had a tiny hole without a lot of holes, then I would buy it. I just like collecting and preserving our history. This will be shipped with plenty of shipping materials.
