  • Condition: Beautiful Red/black leather combo with black cloth top. No rust, no dents, no dings to body. Interior in excellent condition with normal age appropriate patina. This car has had a garaged and pampered life with only limited weekend use as a 2nd or 3rd car in either Florida or NJ. It was acquired in NJ as an extended family circle fun car on 3/30/2001 and has been with us for over 20 years during that time accumulating only 20K miles. It has been meticulously serviced throughout its life have the service records to prove it. When I tallied up the service history I was reminded how much we fussed over its maintainence and upkeep. It has been repainted on the left fender and door as well as the right fender due to scratches and color fading. The body is without any noticeable mars except the lower valence underneath the front bumper on the left side has a crack in it due to a parking lot stanchion. A typical issue that is hard to see unless looking for it. This is the car you hope for.

    Description

As stated above, this car has been garaged, well cared for and meticulously maintained. It has had the convertible top motors and hydraulics replaced at considerable expense along with a long list of items replaced or repaired.  Engine, transmission, and drivetrain is 100% unadulterated stock original.  Cooper Tires are brand new with under 500 miles on them. Very recently (2 months ago) new radiator and engine valve cover gasket. Car is leak free, tight, with no squeaks, shifts perfectly and engine is smooth, responsive and powerful.  Brakes are recent. Drives just like the old style Mercedes Benzes of the past should. It reminds you of the bank vault solid feeling they used to have.  This car is a delight to drive. It sends you back to the Eighties and Nineties like a time machine. A/C blows cold. Car has never overheated and oil religiously changed wheather  it needed it or not.  I have service records which document well over ,000 worth of expenses over the course of our family combined ownerships. Have detachable wind deflector.
If you are looking to acquire an older vintage MB such as this I assume you are aware that the circa 1994-1995 E320 Cabriolets were very low production and rare; also
the last of the hand built Benzes. Their sticker price in their day was in ,000 + range which was astronomical in those days. A vehicle of exclusivity then as it is today. For that amount you could buy close to 3 Cadillacs in 1994. The E320 Cabriolet is now catching on to  the collector market.  The overall desireability and collector regard for this model is rising quickly. I have 3 convertibles and have personal need to make decisions about the practicality of space and too many cars.
This is an opportunity to acquire a vintage Mercedes that has a documented history for 20 years and has been well cared for and loved. I welcome inquiries from genuinely interested parties.
