Description
Original 1898 cabinet photo of soldier Benjamin Rolph of Coldwater MI.
Rolph was a member of the 32nd Michigan National Guard Company A, and a Spanish American War casualty.
He died of typhoid at Fernandina in August of 1898.
I was able to find two newspaper references to his passing (See images).
The photo is in VG condition. A fine clear image of Benjamin in his uniform.
Cabinet photo is marked, Osborne, Coldwater MI.
