I bought this tile saw to put marble tile in the shower in my bathroom. The blade they provided ripped through the marble no problem throughout the duration of the project, around 75 square feet of wall space. You MUST set the saw up according to the directions (aligning the fence/ rip guide with the blade) or else you will have a hard time making longer cuts like some of the other reviewers. The complaints I read in some of the other reviews seemed irrelevant, like tile chips accumulating on the table and having to wipe them off, tile chipping, difficulty cleaning, etc. This is my first tile saw but I imagine those are issues you will have with any tile saw. I would give it 5 stars but I think the fence design could be better.

Very pleased with purchase. Used it to cut Ledgerstone. Some chip-outs but due to irregularities in stone and patience to cut slowly and square. I think it will be perfect on tile but even the chip outs on the stone are unnoticed due to design of the stone. Well worth the investment.

Very happy with this tile saw. It is a quality saw and a good price. Just know that it is not a sliding table, nor a radial saw... both of which are quite a bit more expensive. The draw back is that you push the tile on the table to cut it, and small tile pieces can and do get underneath the tile as you go. It wasn't much of a problem, but if you're doin extremely precise work, you might want to spend the extra $$ for a sliding table or radial arm tile saw. That said, this is a wonder saw for the price.

The saw is easy to assemble, but it consistently chipped my porcelain tile with the supplied diamond blade. The blade runs smooth without wobble, but all the cut lines have discernable chipping. The table top quickly becomes littered with tile bits and makes it more difficult to run other tiles through. Wiping the top with a damp sponge solves the problem easily enough. I would give it 4 stars if there wasn't a problem with chopping. This style of saw can not earn 5 stars because of the tile litter accumulation on the table top.

I have never owned a tile saw before but I'm glad that I picked this one. It was easy to set up and its capable of ripping a 16 inch wide travertine stone easily. All that's needed is to add a little water now and then. I have cut dozens of tiles so far with no loss of speed. It will be interesting to see how long the diamond blade will last but if its not abused, I think it will last a long time.
