I purchased this saw to do a 3 x 3 shower floor to ceiling with tile. I used 12“ x 24“ tiles. The guide that comes with it works perfect for ripping a 12 inch tile, but to cut the 24 inch tile in half you have to do it without a guide. The blade that comes with the saw was a basic concrete blade. I needed to purchase a porcelain blade which worked fine. The stand and saw are very compact and stores easily. The drain plug dripped water and would not seal properly otherwise I would have given this 5 stars. Great saw for the money though!

Perfect saw for doing small tile work. Simple design means no water pump to fail on you. Blade guard support sometimes gets in the way on longer cuts but easy enough to work around. Would give 5 stars if the stand was a bit more quality.

My contractor friend and expert tile installer came over to help me install some tile. I was expecting him to bring his huge "sliding table" tile saw, but showed up with this one. I'd never seen him use it before and asked about it. He explained he was on a job cutting glass tile, needed a fresh blade and ran over to Home Depot, saw this little one and thought it might work better for him so he bought it and immediately loved it. "I use it for everything now except very large tiles." I was doing the cutting and quickly agreed. First of all, the machine is light, so you can carry it just about anywhere. Second, the ruler/fence guide is delightfully precise and the fence is perfectly aligned and parallel with the blade (you can adjust alignment). Since I have a lot of tile to hang in this house, six months ago I bought my own (rather than borrow his all the time) and the only thing I wonder about is why Home Depot never asked me to review it. THIS IS A PERFECT HOME-OWNER SAW. It's well made but fairly inexpensive. It's also easy to clean as there are no pumps or hoses.

Nice saw with a lot of great features. I would give it five stars if table were wider, and rip guide would clamp at both ends of table. The rip guide clamps only to the operator's side of the table and will flex with pressure. All in all - a very good saw for the price.

The saw works well. It cut our 12 x 24 ceramic tile with ease. The stand was sturdy and compact when folded. Great saw. Blade worked well after we had cut about 40 feet of tile. No problems.The "lifetime warranty" seems a stretch. Ridgid's website would not let me register, so, I suppose I have no warranty. If it were not for the warranty hassle, I would have given the saw the 5 stars it deserves.
