6 Lighting Whelk seashells
This lot of seashells were naturally and sustainably collected.
No ocean creatures were harmed in their gathering.
These shells are approximately 1- 2” long and
are a variety of colors from white to tan to gold lightning bolt axial streaks
Interesting lightning whelk fact.... the body whorl spirals to the left (their spire is rearward). Their left-handed aperature separates them from most other marine snails.
The seashells you see in the photos are the ones you will receive.

These seashells washed ashore courtesy of Mother Ocean have been
perfected by tides and time.
Hand selected from the sandy beach by me.
No oils, bleach, or acid baths have been used due to the variety of craft uses.
