    Admiral George Dewey Paper Weight.
    The George Dewey paper weight measures 4" by 2 1/2" and is in excellent condition. There are no chips or crack or scratches. The Admiral was a hero in his day after winning the Spanish- American War of 1898. There were parades and many souvenirs. This paper weight was one of many souvenirs. The back of the paperweight has a piece of outer paper missing but the inner paper is fine, so the picture of Dewey is intact.
