For your consideration is this Antique EAPG pitcher memorializing Admiral Dewey and the ship Olympia. This is the second of two styles of pitchers made to commemorate Admiral George Dewey and his victory at Manila Bay during the Spanish-American war in which only on American was lost. This pitcher stands right at 9 1/8" tall at the top of the spout and is excellent condition except that the clear glass has a purple tint from being exposed to UV light. Decorated with Dewey's likeness, the ship Olympia, stacks of cannon balls, crossed swords, crossed rifles, a cannon, crossed flags, "IN GOD WE TRUST' ribbon, crossed cannons, a ribbon 'E PLUREBUS UNUM" and more on a textured surface. Made from a 4 piece mold.
