This is a fine antique gold plated American eagle lapel pin from the Spanish American War period. The irregular shaped disc, 5/8 inch in diameter, has the full American Eagle as it appears on the Great Seal of the United States. The backside is marked, “Warranted 14K Gold Plate.” Some of the plating on the back “button” is worn, otherwise, in very good condition.
