    Description

    This is
an Austrian medal for the 50th anniversary of the Emperor Franz Josef's assumption of the throne. It is a handsome gilt bronze medal with the Emperor's bust on one side, and the years of his reign thus far on the other, along with the Latin phrase "Signum Memoriae." The medal is a very nice one, but is on an incorrect ribbon- it looks like the WWII German Iron Cross ribbon. The ribbon is on an American ribbon brooch, and is fairly grubby. This is a full-sized original pre-WWI Austrian medal.
Please note: We will ship the medal as carefully and inexpensively as we can. If we charge you over what it actually costs us, then we will issue you a refund for the difference.
