Natural Fine Mother-of-Pearl Banana Clam Shell Matched Pair

measuring from approximately four and a quarter inches (4.25") to approximately four and a half inches (4.5") long.  The two halves of this matched pair of single shells are glued together to make a pair.  What fabulous flashes of iridescent colors the exterior and interior of these curved shells exhibit when light strikes them, as shown in the photos!  If you wish to use only one side or the other of this matched pair, soaking in soapy water will release the white-glue adhesive keeping them together.
(The last photo in this listing shows one of the pairs I'd separated for illustration purposes. And, although two matched pairs are shown in a couple of the photos, this listing is for one pair of these shells -- two matched single shells glued together to make a pair.
