    Description

    BRITISH M1876 MARTINI-HENRY SOCKET BAYONET  with leather Scabbard
    COMPLETE WITH THE LOCKING RING AND SCREW.
    A British Victorian P1876 Martini-Henry socket bayonet  the tri-angular blade is 546mm(21 1/2"), marked at the forte with (worn)
    WD and arrow, Enfield inspection mark.
    Blued steel socket with working locking ring, it is complete with it's original stiff leather scabbard, with two brass mounts, the top mount is marked with WD and arrow, and Enfield inspectors mark
    .  Some patches of speckling and patches of light pitting on the blade, with some dings to the brass scabbard mounts, the general condition
    OF THE BLADE
    is very good, with normal signs of age/service.
    The leather portion of the scabbard is excellent.   As Pictured.
