    Description

    This original Model 1902 Cavalry Corporal chevron is in unissued condition.
    It has two yellow felt stripes on white cotton twill material.
    The stitching is tight and strong and there are no tears, holes or moth damage.
    This chevron measures approximately 3½ inches across.
    These chevrons with the stripes in branch colors were only made for two years, as it was found that the colors did not hold up well to washing, and in 1904, stripes were switched to olive drab for all Army branches.
