    The item is Volume One of Two
    . A nice copy of this huge work, 16" x 12". 240 pages. Very highly illustrated in B&W and color. It is a compendium of the part work which was issued monthly as the war progressed. One interesting item (photograph in listing) is an investigation of the sinking of the Maine "proving" it was the result of an external explosion.
    Green cloth boards three quarters Morocco. Very bright gold titles. The Morocco leather has dried out and is brittle, with rubbing and wear to the spine which is missing a piece. Inside the hinges and binding are tight and all pages are present, intact, undamaged and attached. Very nice condition. See pictures.
