This is a KINGSLEY WORCESTERSHIRE HAND PAINTED ENGLAND oval 2 1/4" x 1 5/8" with a 1 1/8" depth hinged oval trinket vanity box in excellent condition with no damage, hinge and clasp work well, it appears to have never been used.  Inside is a quote from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream
"I have a bank where the wild thyme blows, where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, quite over-canapied with luscious woodbine, with sweet musk-roses and with eglantine".
