Model 1889 US Army cork Sun Helmet, dated 1899

Description

For Auction here is a Spanish American War era Model 1889 cork Sun Helmet in excellent condition.
Helmet shows typical staining as expected. There are no dents, soft spots rips nor tears. The interior green cotton lining is completely intact.
The sweatband is also completely intact and is maker marked and dated 1899. Marked Size 7.
