    Description

AN ORIGINAL AND EARLY BLACK COLOR LEATHER HOLSTER FOR THE US ARMY DOUBLE ACTION COLT REVOLVER ( MODEL 1892,1894,1896,1901 AND 1903)
I COULD NOT MAKE OUT A MANUFACTURE DATE OR ARSENAL MARKING. THE NUMBER 67 IS PLAINLY VISIBLE AND IT IS THE TROOPE NUMBER, THEN I THINK THERE IS AN "H" FOR H TROOP AND PERHAPS 5 FOR 5 THE CAVALRY. IT IS MY GUESS.
THE LEATHER IS BLACK IN COLOR. SHOWING LOTS OF CRACKING AND AGE IN THE LEATHER FINISH AS WELL AS FIELD USE. THE LEATHER IS HOWEVER LIVELY AND FLEXIBLE, NOT FRAGILE TO HANDLE. THE "US" ON THE FRONT IS  A BIT FADED BUT PRESENT.  MINOR MARKS AND SOME DARKER AREA FROM STORAGE AND FIELD USE. THE BOTTOM PLUG/RING IS PRESENT.
PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES PROVIDED TO EVALUATE THIS HOLSTER.
    IT WILL DISPLAY VERY WELL.
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO VIEW MY OTHER AUCTION  ITEMS. THEY INCLUDE A WIDE VARIETY OF MILITARY ANTIQUES.  KEEP ME ON YOUR FAVORITE SELLERS LIST.

    Shipping and handling:

International buyers, please note that all purchases are fully and correctly disclosed on Custom forms for the invoice amount. Be aware that to obtain insurance for an International package, which we encourage you to purchase, the package must be sent via Priority Mail which is much more expensive than First Class Mail.
