    Auction for 1960's manufactured Porto-Rico Army of Occupation 1898 medal
    1. Porto-Rico Army of Occupation, 1898 Medal. Late issue 1960's pinback medal issued at the tail end of medals issued for the the Spanish-American War of 1898. Medal was a gift to a retired officer, received from a Span Am vet in a retirement home when the retired officer was a ROTC cadet who briefly befriended him in 1980. Sadly, the name of the recipient has been lost to time and only the story remains.
    Medal shows normal wear/tear associated with age. Medal may show minor age related defects.
