Pre WWI Span-Am War US Navy Officer Hat Cap with Bullion Badge Patch

Fantastic pre WWI Span-Am War US Navy officer hat with bullion badge.
Very nice original "bell crown" style. Beautiful early highly detailed left facing bullion eagle (wearers left). Note "cow-lick" to eagles head which is a nice feature on these early insignia. Has correct strap buttons. Has nice Norfolk, Virginia makers mark on sweat-band. I couldn't find a size but it's a typical small size for the era. Removable high quality blue top is of the more "compact" size with smaller crown from the Spanish-American War / Great White Fleet era. Still has the original adjustable red cloth covered removable stiffener in crown. The visor has a few dings as shown. I couldn't find any moth damage. The hat is in over all excellent condition, especially considering it's over 100 years old. Please ask any questions. Sorry but no sales outside of US at this time.
