  • Condition: Issued field item. Blade shows superficial rusting and pitting on elbow and mount. Scabbard is intact, however leather is dry and cracking. Item is in very good condition for a 120 years plus piece. This socket bayonet is for use on the .303 caliber M1895 Martini-Enfield rifle. The Pattern 1895 bayonets were altered Pattern 1876 bayonets, originally made for the caliber .577–450 Martini-Henry rifle. Stamping on the top of the blade shows the bayonet was repurposed by the Royal Armory at Enfield Lock on January 1900. This bayonet was possibly imported into the United States during the Spanish American War.

    Issued field item. Blade shows superficial rusting and pitting on elbow and mount. Scabbard is intact, however leather is dry and cracking. Item is in very good condition for a 120 years plus piece.
    This socket bayonet is for use on the .303 caliber M1895 Martini-Enfield rifle.  The Pattern 1895 bayonets were altered Pattern 1876 bayonets, originally made for the caliber .577–450 Martini-Henry rifle.
