    Rare Spanish American War service medal for Medford, Massachusetts. Enameled suspension measures approximately 1 3/4” across. The medal itself measures approximately 1 5/8” in diameter. On the suspension, at the top of the shield there are two tiny areas with no enamel, and it looks like a manufacturing issue (dimples), not chips, but either way, no enamel.
