REMEMBER THE MAINE! - SET OF 2 STAMPS
Set of 2 U.S. stamps, both featuring the U.S. Maine battleship that was sunk in Havana Bay, Cuba in 1898, triggering the Spanish-American War. The smaller stamp is an original U.S. revenue stamp issued in 1898. The larger stamp was issued in 1998, marking the 100th anniversary of the ship's sinking. Both stamps are unused.
