    Description

Retro Collectible Hario Glass Vacuum Coffee Maker, Made in Japan w) Accessories.
The Cover/Vacuum Bowl Stand and Handle are in deep red bakelite.  Matching bowls with Hario 60 (A) - 5 cups capacity embossed.
It's a very retro art deco item with great lines and form.  Hario glass came into existence around 1921 and is still producing glass today.
The handle has a clamp that loosens to remove both bowls for cleaning or to further secure the bottom bowl to pour.
Both bowls have lovely silver stripping.
It comes with the original table top glass flame defuser, wick and stand.  The filter is unique in that it's plastic with a metal spring.  The unit comes in at 13 inches tall.
This is a very collectible item and would make a great addition to your vacuum coffee maker collection or as a gift.
I've made the coffee on the stove top with fine grind and due to mailing requirements of flammable items, have not used the flame defuser to keep the coffee warm. Removing it from the burner causes the vacuum to quickly drain to the bottom bowl.
The seal is in excellent condition.
