    Description

    Spanish American War US Army M1895 Forage Infantry Enlisted Man's Cap or Kepi Style Hat - Wisconsin Volunteers Militia- Very Nice Condition
    Up for Auction is a Spanish American War US Army M1895 Forage Infantry Enlisted Man's Cap or Hat.  This is a Navy Blue felt Kepi Style hat with Wisconsin Volunteer Militia buttons on each side.  It has a bullion emplem on the front.  Inside the hat still has the original leather sweat band.  No mothing, no rips or tears.  One moth nip on the top.  It has the original manufacturer's markings: Henderson-Ames Co, of Kalamazoo, Mich.  Considering it is 110+ years old, this hat is in Very Nice Condition.   Estimate the size at a 7 1/4.  The Cap is used, see photo's for condition.
