This 1895 SPANISH AMERICAN WAR ERA, bayonet is over all in above good condition, more than likely a bring back from the war. The blueish leather scabbard is in above good to great condition, with the steel tip and steel throat, having darken with a extremely light surface darkening. The blade is amazing andthe walnut grip perfect. The push button attachment for the bayonet to the receiver on the barrel wokers perfectly. The attaching ring is numbered, the blade is clearly marked ARTILLERY Fca DE TOLEDO 1895, THREE YEARS PRE SPANISH AMERICAN WAR, so I'm sure it saw action, the blade is bright, and factory sharpened, just the way it should be , the stud attachment is strong. This fits the spanish mauser.
