U.S 1900 KRAG-JORGENSEN ORIGINAL BOWIE BAYONET + SCABBARD
Very Rare, original production, not a replica. From another listing found and various websites, apparently, there was approximately only 2,850 of these knives made. Very clearly stamped above the handle is "1900" on the one side, and "US" on the other. This blade seems to be untouched in terms of sharpening or getting rid of marks so there's a fair amount of surface corrosion as well as scratching from the scabbard retainer clip, located on the inside of the scabbard. The scabbard is equally as rare and difficult to find, especially as a pair with the Bowie knife that is included. The scabbard has some surface corrosion from long-term storage, which shouldn't be difficult to clean if you choose to. The inside of the scabbard, like mentioned before, has an inner retainer clip that is still intact which is uncommon. Comes as shown in the pictures provided.
