    Description

    Nice US Rifle Model 1892 Krag Bayonet with Sheath.  Comes with the belt loop attachment too.  Bayonet measures 16-1/4" overall with a blade length of 11-3/4".  Very good condition overall with a nice finish on blade, showing minimal wear, Ricasso area of blade is marked, "US/1900".  Excellent wood grips with round rivets.  Excellent working press-stud ejector.  The scabbard does not have much original finish left except in the protected areas, steel is dent free and the belt loop attachment works correctly and moves from 10-2, left to right.  These were used on the Krag .30-40 Rifles in the Spanish American War and the early 1900's prior to WW1.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.  A well made item.
