    Description

    This is a very nice U.S. Army Spanish American War service medal that is in very good condition. The planchet is constructed of bronze and very well struck exhibiting sharp and well-defined detail. It is suspended from the original ribbon which remains solid and with vibrant color. The ribbon is mounted on a full wrap broach that is with functional pin and roller locking catch assemblies. The lower rim of the planchet is clearly incised with the number ‘13534’. Medal #13534 was issued to Private Walter H. Fox, Co. E, 1st Maryland Volunteer Infantry. A very presentable example.
