Description

Original crossed rifles cap insignia for an enlisted man of the 3rd infantry. The company letter has broken off and only a small piece remind.
This type of insignia was in use between 1896 and 1905 for the cap of an enlisted man.
This is a screwback insignia and the fastening nut is not present, in addition the threaded post has been shortened.
The two stabilizing pins on each side are present.

The United States Postal Service is our shipper of choice. We will combined shipping cost for multiple purchases. We are in the Antique Militaria business and do not make money from shipping. We merely try to cover some of our basic costs.

Be aware that to obtain insurance for an International package, which we encourage you to purchase, the package must be sent via Priority Mail which is much more expensive than First Class Mail.
