Up for auction is a vintage Indian Wars/Spanish American War US M1878 Canteen With original Leather Shoulder Strap marked U.S. 25.
The canteen has a few dents but is complete with cork, chain and original leather shoulder strap the cover shows some wear and staining but it’s in good shape as well.
Regardless, this would be an excellent edition for any collector or enthusiast looking for a very nice M1878 period canteen.
