VMI Childs Cadet Coatee ca 1900

This is for a VMI Childs Cadets Coatee ca 1900. I have a letter from the Museum at VMI describing what they think it is. It started out as a VMI Cadets Uniform, then it was dyed blue and tailored to fit a child. Reasons unknown. It has moth damage and some of the buttons have tarnished.
