  • Condition: In very nice vintage condition. Hinges are tight - opens and closes perfectly. Dovetail corners. No cracks in wood. Very light scuffing on corners, paint has begun to crack a bit. Logo is beautifully legible: it shows a garland of flowers with an elegant woman in a long gown dancing in the middle. At the bottom it reads: "Richard Hudnut Salon New York. Dimensions are 17" long x 13" wide x 3" deep. Entwined into the flowers is the work "Success"

    Rare RICHARD HUDNUT Perfume Display Box, Salesman's
    Sample Box
    Early to mid 20th century.
    Well made with painted wood. Dovetail corners. Two hinges in back:  opens like a
    small writing desk.
    Beautiful Large Richard Hudnut Logo in center of box shows a garland of flowers with an elegant woman in a long gown dancing in the center.
    Under the garland it reads  "Richard Hudnut Salon New York"  The word "Success" is entwined in the garland of flowers.
    The colors are aqua with pink, yellow and green.
    Dimensions are 17" x 13" x 3".
    A wonderful box for storing just about anything.
    Excellent vintage condition.  All wood is in excellent condition.  Hinges are tight and function great.  Logo is in excellent shape and very legible.  Very light scuffing on the corners and paint is beginning to crack lightly.  But still a quite lovely box - the patina just adds to the look of it.
