This is exceedingly nice. No date, but the illustration on the front, shows soldiers riding horses.  Research makes me believe that this was a souvenir scrapbook type of photo album made for the many troops that were trained at Fort Sheridan during the Spanish American War. The horses appear to be pulling a wagon or caisson (cannon).
The front and the back cover are leather. This measures 7.25 by 11.75 inches. The leather is soft. There are two pages in the front for names, dates and addresses, then 24 pages of heavy black paper for photos. This was never used. There are no marks, or tears in the pages.
Held together with a leather tie. Overall in excellent + condition.
