This is a Great, Rare, Early 1899 8th New York Infantry military "Annual Muster Roll of Field Musicians" document
. This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Early look, features the names & information of soldiers, is Hand-Signed by Colonel Edward M. Hoffman, measures approx. 12" x 9.5" open, has 14 pages,
is an Original, Vintage piece, from the Spanish-American War era, and Rare to Find.
Washington Greys
: The 8th New York Infantry, also known as the "Washington Greys", was stationed out of New York City and served in the Civil War and Spanish-American War. During WWI, they became the 8th Coast Defense Command and protected NYC's harbors, as part of the US Army Coastal Artillery Corps.
This appears to be in Very Good, Solid condition.
